The use and rapid evolution of otherworldly spells are expanding. Experiments gone wrong turn the world into a wasteland where skeletons and secrets are buried when a cursed variant of tule fog arrives. Zekiel has to do all he can to harness magic with Avana, Elijah, Theia, the Librarian, and other Wielders of magic to save their history.

Castin, Glass, and Nero work with lawless Drifters to carry out deals for weaponry to enforce their own order for freedom.

Arcadia, the Faction Overseer, is in charge of orchestrating missions for the Frontier who aims to take control of every location with hidden barriers. She plans to assist the Magic Wielders in overthrowing a cult of Spellcasters. The gateway out leads to a utopian world.
