SYNOPSIS
THE CHALLENGE OF SECONDS
Theia arrives on Metal Island, bound for a mysterious destination that demands her teleportation command. Her task is to seize the chaotic compound while Elijah, the Librarian, Avana, and Zekiel do the same in magic-specific places.

The Second Crew tries to take control of the portals and rescue the missing Forgotten, unaware that each time Theia teleports, the gateways seal shut. Castin, Glass, and Nero work with the lawless Drifters to outsource weaponry through dangerous passageways to arm themselves for deals.

Meanwhile, Arcadia defies the Frontier's orders, forging new portals and spreading word of their plan to destroy every text in Old Crow Library. Her plans to stop them risk rewriting time itself through the power of water if she doesn't get Theia's help in time.
